This EPIC form factor motherboard utilizes the Freescale i.MX6 processor which is a powerful, efficient processor of the ARM Cortex™-A9 series that offers long lifecycle support. This processor features full HD 1080p playback and the ability of running dual independent displays through the HDMI+LVDS interfaces. This ARM Cortex system is designed to operate on Android and has up to 1GB/2GB of memory and 4GB/8GB in iNAND flash.
The EMB-4500 has 5x COM ports, 5x USB ports, 16bit GPIO and dual CAN bus for your automotive applications. These combined features make this ARM Cortex EPIC motherboard ideal for a range of applications ranging from advanced human to machine interfaces, data acquisition, point of sale, vehicle telemetry, digital signage, industrial automation, banking, building controls and connected appliances.
