FW-7911 is a type of network security barebone, rack-mountable, 2U in height and 1.2MM in board thickness, with a high-grade carbon high-strength structural steel case, treated with sand blasting and oxidation processes on surfaces. It uses the Intel 3420 PCH chipset, and supports high performance Intel Lynnfield X3450 (compatible with X 3400 series) processor and ECC memory, with 4 X DDR3 UDIMM and dual-channel. As for storage, the motherboard provide 2 SATA ports and a CF card socket; The Intel 3420 PCH inside supports RAID0、1、5、10, 12 X Ethernet ports and various photoelectric devices. With high-grade 2U industrial specialized power supply and exclusive “watchdog”+ BYPASS function, FW-7911 is very suitable for various network security devices, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intelligent terminals based on tele-communications network or computer network and so on.
