The EMB-3540 is an embedded motherboard with an ARM based Allwinner A20 dual Core processor and has a 1GB DDR3 RAM and 4GB onboard NAND flash. This ARM based is ultra-compact, only measuring in at 120mm x 120mm (4.72″ x 4.72″). Along with it’s low-power and high performance processor, the EMB-3540 also has a number of different I/O. The ARM based board supports 1x dual channel 24bit LVDS,1x HDMI, 1x VGA port, 1x LAN, 3x USB, , 4×COM(1×RS232/485 adjustable), onboard USB WIFI.
The EMB-3540 has up to 16pin GPIO interface and onboard MINI PCIE SIM supports 3G voice communication, supports TF\SATA expansion, audio (1x Line out, 1x speak out, 1x mic), IR and 4-wire resistance touch screen, is a stable and reliable industrial-grade multimedia player that can be used from advanced human to machine interfaces, data acquisition, point of sale, vehicle telemetry, digital signage, industrial automation, building controls and connected appliances.
Additionally, the flexibility of this board makes it ideal not only for OEM/ODM projects, but also for hobbyists, and the DIY folks. The ARM platform allows it to be space saving, having a small foot print, but at the same time have enough real estate for some serious I/O.
