General Introduction
The B-mode ultrasonography has been widely used for its advantages of low-cost, easy-operation and high-sensitivity. But the traditional diagnostic system of B-scan cannot meet the need of modern diagnosis because of the shortcomings of the unit. In order to make up for the defects and improve the diagnostic quality, NORCO dedicated a motherboard EMB-4850 to the system.
System Operating Theory
The B-mode ultrasonic graphic diagnosis system mainly consists of controlling circuit, emitter circuit, receiving circuit, scanner, display and transducer.
The controlling circuit, which in fact is a synchronizing generator, produces pulse signals synchronically and periodically to close the scanning and emitter circuit. On being triggered by signals, the emitter produces pulse of high frequency to stimulate the transducer.
In the B-mode ultrasonic graphic diagnosis system, the receiving circuit is responsible for receiving ultrasonic signals reflected from diagnosed organism. After that, the transducer turns the echoed signals into high-frequency ones for processing. On the other hand, the scanner produces scanning voltage to control the electron beam and finally present the images on the display.
